Using SolarAnywhere Data in PRISM

SolarAnywhere SystemCheck® licensed and trial users can take advantage of our integration with Sunrise Technologies’ PRISM® analytics platform to uncover PV plant underperformance issues and get actionable O&M recommendations by following these steps:

  1. If you don’t already have SystemCheck data access and you need a trial license to get started with PRISM, you can request a trial here.
  2. Generate a SolarAnywhere API Key (an Asynchronous or Trial key) or request an API key from the license manager of your SolarAnywhere Account.
  3. Contact the PRISM support team to request a PRISM trial.
  4. Securely share your SolarAnywhere API key with the PRISM team.
  5. Follow instructions from the PRISM team to provide additional facility documentation, typically including the as-built electrical drawings, the energy model report (e.g. PVsyst, Helioscope, or similar), and historical time series inverter and revenue meter AC power data.  The PRISM team will use this information to build a detailed performance model of the facility.

The PRISM team will use the API key to access SolarAnywhere meteorological data, which PRISM will process to calculate the Weather-Adjusted Expected Generation and categorize losses.

If you run into any issues creating your API key or need to contact SolarAnywhere support, you can contact us at support@solaranywhere.com. For support using PRISM, please contact the Sunrise Technologies team at prism@sunrise-tech-llc.com.
