Access current validation methodologies and statistics

Accurate solar resource data starts with rigorous modeling and transparent validation. At Clean Power Research®, we continuously improve SolarAnywhere® through advancements in modeling techniques, and we openly publish our validation methods and results so customers can independently verify performance.

Unlike many competing datasets, SolarAnywhere is validated against ground observations, but not trained or locally tuned to them. Our globally consistent, physics-based modeling approach avoids dependence on local ground measurements that may themselves contain uncertainty or uneven geographic coverage. This helps ensure reported accuracy reflects real-world performance across diverse climates, regions and project locations worldwide. Explore our validation reports to learn more.
