Scheduled Maintenance
We are performing a security update that will disable Basic Authentication by October 1, 2025. All current users of Basic Authentication to access the SolarAnywhere API must migrate to usage of API keys to avoid disruption in service.
Here are instructions to replace your basic authentication credentials with an API key:
- Sign in to your SolarAnywhere account at https://data.solaranywhere.com/Account/Login
- Navigate to your License tab at https://data.solaranywhere.com/LicenseManager
- Use the API Client Management interface at the bottom of the page to create an asynchronous API key. Further information on this step can be found here: https://www.solaranywhere.com/support/using-solaranywhere/api/
- Replace your basic authentication header, ‘Authorization’: ‘Basic [credentials]’, with the following header, ‘X-Api-Key’: ‘[64-character API key]’
